Dog Potty Spot Made from Sod SquaresWe live in Florida and half of the year we are prepping for hurricanes and my dog may have to stay in for hours or even days during bad weather. I went to my local garden center purchased a couple of pieces of fresh sod(yes you can buy pcs! About $2.50 each) I put the sod in a cheap plastic kiddie pool on my back porch and voila! Outside potty inside!

Wallace (Kitten)Our daughter was on her way to our house, on I-40 near Wallace, when she saw this little kitten under the overpass. Every time a car would pass, he would run around in circles. Being the loving person that she is, she could not leave him there. She had to stop and pick him up. The kitten was howling it was so terrified. It took a while to get him settled down. She gave him some water and he went fast asleep and slept the rest of the way.
Coco (Siamese Shorthair)Some friends of ours asked if we would like some Siamese kittens and I said I'd have to ask my husband since he's not really a cat person, but he agreed to go look at them. There were two available; a brother and sister. He held the little boy and fell in love! He is the one who picked Coco!
Petie (Senegal Parrot)I got Petite from a co-worker who's girlfriend did not want him, in 2005. I trim little Peties flight feathers to keep them safe and as you can see by the picture he decided to fly anyway. He likes to chew on things and tear them up sometimes. I think he's part beaver. And he likes to be loved on.
Twix (Dachshund/Chihuahua)I have had Twix since October. My fiancee and I are in a long distance relationship, it is hard because I always feel lonely and always missing my fiancee. He knows how much I love dogs, so he asked someone to surprise me. And yeah that was Twix.

Hunter (Domestic Short Hair)Hunter loves to watch TV. He watches the TV whenever it's on; he likes to watch videos for cats. He's an indoor cat. He has one favorite toy that he loves to play with. It is the one with the balls inside a ring and it makes a noise likes the birdies sing.

Shaka I rescued Shaka from a drainage ditch on the side of the road. I heard a car pull up in front of my friend''s home. The passenger threw a carton into the deep drainage ditches we have on our road. In the carton were 5 baby kittens. Four of the kittens were very sick. The kittens were three weeks old.
Avasun (Australian Shepherd Terrier Mix )I got Ava from Caring Hearts animal rescue in Nov. 2015. Ava loves to pick things up with her mouth, anything and everything, throw it in the air and catch it. She loves to play tug and play with her food dish.

Keeping Track of Fish FeedingI have grandkids that love to feed my fish- and a husband that does too- problem is the fish will eat as many times as you feed them!! The water dirties very quickly too from non eaten food. What I came up with is a piece of paper with 2 circles on it when you feed the fish if it's in the morning you cover that up. Exposing the feed me at night time circle- and at night you do the same re exposing the morning circle see no more wasted food and the fish get fed 2x a day in stead of 4 or 5
Seven (Squirrel)I found her on the side of the road. She likes to play with my hand since she is so small. She is a very sweet squirrel, suprisingly obedient since she is a wild squirrel.

He also likes to talk excessively.
Sam (Boxer Pug Mix)I rescued Sam in 2014. Sam loves to ride in the golf cart when I'm hosting at the state park. He clears the sites of squirrels so I can clean. He loves to kayak and hike and will run next to me when I mountain bike. I couldn't ask for a better dog.
Sassy June (Collie/Lab Mix)I had just found out that I had cancer and was laying in bed, at 7:00am when my friend told me that I had a dog in my flower bed. He said it is just a puppy.
