Mr. Drac - Call WaitingHere's a photo I took of my kitty, Mr. Drac. He's sitting in our window on top of the telephone table, and when I went to take his picture, as I thought it looked so surreal, he posed for me! He's a ham! I named it "Call Waiting". We live in the northeast kingdom of Vermont.
Meet Sasha! - Australian Heeler/LabShe is nine months old. Sasha is an Australian Heeler/Lab. My adult children "adopted" her at a shelter. She entertains her "brother and Sister", they are adults cats by mimicking their every move. Sasha is as sweet as can be! She absolutely loves her box of stuffed toys! She has terrific visiting manners! As her "grandparents", we can't wait for her to come and visit! Yes, she can bring her "parents"!

Ellie thinks it's great fun to ride inside my jacket while we go on snowmachine rides. She peeks her tiny face out to keep watch where we're going unless it's really cold and then she tucks down inside to keep warm. This picture is Ellie giving my husband a good morning kiss.

Max (Rottweiler)His name is Max he is 1 1/2 years old and he loves to take apart soft toys, he doesn't like playing with hard toys but the soft toys last only 5 min. He also loves being outside and playing with other dogs.

My Sweet Onyx (Toy Poodle)My dogs name is Onyx. He is almost 1 year old. He is special because he almost died at birth. He's a Poodle and they have to clip their tails. Well, they clipped it too short and he almost bled to death.

When she catches him breaking a house rule she snatches him by the ear and gives him a shake. She also will drag him to the door if she thinks he's going to mess in the house. Sassy (Cat)Sassy is a 6 year old cat, that we adopted from a family that had a sign in their yard saying "kitten needs a good home". At the time we were traveling and living in our RV.
Duke (German Shepherd)Duke is the newest member of our household. We bought Duke from the a German Shepherd rescue out of Staunton, VA. He has only been with us for two days and is already adapting. Training is going better then we could have hoped for.
Newt (Min-Pin)Newt is a 2 year old Min-Pin. I was so excited this Christmas when I was given Newt for a gift. It was a complete surprise! He likes to go for rides in the car. Newt is smart, and he is also a comedian.

Babe (Feral Cross Hog)Babe had a wild mother who decided my husband and I were OK and actually would let us pet her. It was during a bad drought in our area, and she was starving. Water was scarce, so we fed and watered about 8 sows and 3 small boars. Then Babe was born.
Buster (Cat)Buster is a 2 year old cat. He has soft long hair. My husband had taken our small poodle out for his morning duties. Bear (our poodle) found this tiny 4 inch long kitten that the dogs had brought up to the door and were dutifully watching.
Duchess (German Shepherd)Duchess is a 4 year old German Shepherd. I got her for Christmas! Best gift I ever got. :) She likes to play catch, and she likes chase after me. So I've had her for about 2 years now. My uncle gave her to me as a gift one Christmas.
Tate (Persian)Tate is a 19 month old purebred Persian. I have had him since he was 4 months old. He is my baby. He waits in the kitchen every morning for his breakfast treat. If I sleep in or am late, he will bounce on the bed and jump off.
Panther (Cat)Panther is an outside stray that found us. He is the most loving cat that just likes to be held and cuddled! While taking outside pictures of my granddaughter in her angel costume, Panther just had to get in on the action.

Lola (Dog)Lola is a mixed breed. We adopted Lola from an animal shelter in July 2004. The animal shelter and her vet gave us their best guess at her age back then, so we estimate she is somewhere between 9 and 12 years old.

Little Baby And Nadia (Cats)Little Baby and Nadia are 3 and 1 year old, respectively. We found Little Baby abandoned under a tree when she was only a few days old. She could barely walk. We figured she was the runt of a new litter and was dragged out of the nest.

Tucker (Aussie)Tucker is a 10 month old Aussie. I loss my other Aussie at the age of fourteen. I didn't have a lot of money but want another Aussie. I went on Craigslist and ask if some one had one that needed a home.
George (Pomeranian Shih Tzu)George is a 3 year old Pomeranian Shih Tzu. I got George from my sister-in-law He likes to tease the bigger dogs. He loves his bones and if there's a soft pillow nearby he will steal it. He is very friendly and sweet.
Merrill (Maine Coon)Merrill is a 5 year old Maine Coon. I got my cat almost four years ago from an old art teacher of mine.
Darling Miss Emma (Great Dane/Lab)I rescued Emma as a very young puppy. She had been horribly neglected and I'll be the first to say that due to her circumstances, I probably spoiled her a little more then I have my other dogs, past and present.
Loki (German Shepherd)Loki is a 2 year old German Shepherd. We got Loki when he was 12 weeks old. He has been absolutely amazing. He loves playing but managed to remain gentle with our young daughter.
Rocky (Raccoon)Rocky adopted me about 3 years ago and loves to sneak up on the porch and eat my cat's food. She loves to play in my tomato plants and herbs. She always like to turn the water bowl over to let me know she has been there.
Sammie Girl (Calico)Sammie Girl is a 2 year old Calico. Sammie came to live with us shortly after our precious Maine Coon passed away. She was definately a gift from God.
Zoey (Heeler/Border Collie)Zoey is a 1 and a half year old Heeler/Border Collie mix. After my heart dog passed away, I was ready for another 'shadow'. I found Zoey online and she needed a new home. Her humans knew she would be a VERY active dog.
Mister Mister (Cat)Mister Mister is 3 years old. We just adopted our cat from our local animal shelter 2 weeks ago. We have always gotten all of our cats from there and we are so glad we do. Mister Mister loves to sleep, eat, sleep, play, sleep some more, and cuddle!

In Memory of Desmond Morton Bird (Cat)This is a picture of our darling cat, Desmond Morton Bird. He came to us as a stray, thus we cut an opening in the side of our garage as a safe place for him from the cold and other animals. Later he came in the house to live with us for about 10 years.
In Memory of Baby (Persian Cat)Our cat Baby was so beautiful. But she was also timid about cameras, and she knew I was a camera "bug." So I was very pleased to catch her in this pose one day.
