Heritage Park GardenThis park is a nice place to sit and relax. There are quite a few trees that provide shade and many benches to sit on. The kids can play at the playground provided, while you sit and read a book. The town hosts many celebrations in the park over the summer months. A band plays every Thursday in the gazebo.
Joel Stone BeachThis picture was taken at Joel Stone Beach, where we spend most of the summer days. It is nice scenery, with boats coming through all day long. Joel Stone Beach is located along the St. Lawrence River. You can even see some of the islands from there. There is also a splash pad for younger kids.
Confederation Park (Ontario)This park is where they hold some of the festivals they have every summer. This was once the site of Jones Shovel Company, until the 1960's. The Chamber of Commerce developed the park in 1967. Over the years, they have added walks, lighting, and ponds.

Summer in the Mountains (Wyoming)After a very busy year so far, in July, we took the opportunity to take a little family vacation tent camping in the Medicine Bow National Forest in Wyoming. It is about a 7 hour drive from where we live. The vista was breathtaking!

One Cold Wintry NightWe have a big old tree in our backyard. I was busy doing some errands on the back porch. It was quite cold; it seems as if we skipped autumn and went straight to winter. I couldn't help but notice the moon framed through the tree branches. A great reminder that even during the winter nature can still surprise us!
Face In The SkyI was taking my dog on a walk by a golf course near our home one evening. I started taking random pictures of the sky. A few days later, I was deleting images on my camera roll when I noticed that this one photo had a face in it. If you apply filters to the image, the face gets more detailed.
Beddgelert Wales and its Medieval LegendThis pretty scene was photographed in the village of Beddgelert in Wales UK in the Spring of 2016. The trees you see in the photo mark the grave of a dog called Gelert. This is where the village gets it's name as Beddgelert means "grave of Gelert"
Serenity of White Sand Beach (Philippines)Since it is summer in my country, the beach is the number one place to be visited by tourists. Aside from the black sand that we have, we are also rich in white sand beaches. It is a fine white sand and a blue green ocean. You can embrace the calmness of the place, and the picture itself reflects peace and beauty.
The Carter Mansion (Elizabethton, TN)This beautiful old Mansion is very near Food City where I shop for groceries. There was a detour so I had to go past this beautiful old house. I couldn't resist taking photos. Once you step on that land, everything has a different 'feel' to it, as if you are in another time.

Lake Murray Reservoir (CA)This is a beautiful lake to enjoy the birds and wildlife. In addition you could go bicycling, walking, jogging, rollerblading, fishing and even have a picnic with the barbecue set up they have, or bring your own barbecue grill. This is a great lake for fun weekend family activities where you could rent kayaks, boats as well.
Two Toned Sunset (WI)I was looking out my front patio door and wow, I seen the most awesome two toned sunset. What was really cool was that it was dark on one side and light on the other side of the sky. It looked like Yin and Yang out there.
Oceanside Pier (CA)Oceanside Pier is one of the longest piers I have visited. This is a nice area to take a stroll, watch the surfers, fishers and enjoy the beach and wildlife. There is plenty of parking, places to sit and rest, and enjoy the view.

Fairy Tea GardenWhile on holiday in Knysna, we visited the Garden of Eden, an indigenous forest halfway between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay. While walking the easy trail that winds through the forest, I came across this group of mushrooms. It looked like a fairy tea garden and I was waiting for the fairies to come out and play.

Morning Fog Over The PondIt was very foggy this morning. When I opened the back door, this is what I saw. It was so beautiful! It wasn't until after I took the picture, that I noticed the huge bird's nest in the top of the tree straight ahead. A huge bird was sitting on the edge of the nest.

White Christmas 2012This is what we woke up to Christmas morning. It continued to snow all day and we ended up with about 9 inches. Several of our family members were snowed in with us.
