Moonlight (Siberian Husky)I got my puppy from a shelter when he was 2 months old on February 17 2019. My dog loves to play in water. Moonlight know how to blow bubbles under water on command and he loves belly rubs.

They were on a hillside in the middle of nowhere. Their mom left them when they were about 4 weeks old. The owners fed them table scraps if they fed them at all.

A Visitor In Our Garden (Santa Barbara, CA)This beautiful cat loves our garden. He owns it! It is his anytime he wishes to come over the fence from our neighbors and lounge amongst the plants. We drove 5 hours to get her. On the way back home, she climbed up inside my sweater, and ended up inside my sleeve at my wrist.
Buddy Boy (Toy Poodle)Buddy Boy is a 2 year old toy poodle. I got him as a gift on June 16, 2009. Buddy loves to go for walks, run, and play fetch. He also loves to play tug of war and just cuddling with me.

Zero (Cat)We adopted Zero after our cat Oolong ran away. Our kids were devastated, and after awhile we decided that we would look at rescuing another cat. We found Zero at the Humane Society when he was about 3 months old.
Flenters (Jack Russell Cross Breed)Flenters is an 8 year old Jack Russell cross breed. I got my dog when he was only 4 days old. A young couple that had been unemployed for several months was selling all their dogs in front of our local supermarket.

Angel (Miniature Poodle)Angel is a 2 year old miniature poodle. A lady had her listed in the paper and needed to find a good home. She had got her when she was 8 weeks old, and within 3 weeks the dog hair bothered her son, who has asthma.

Lefty (Cat)Lefty is around 5 years old. The vet referred to her as a bunch of cats patched together. Lefty and her 4 siblings were found as we were driving on a country road on a very hot summer day.

Misty and Sarge (Spotted Dogs)Misty and Sarge they are true spotted southern bred dogs. Misty lives in Alabama, and Sarge lives in Georgia. They have a long distance love affair.
Sam (Domestic Cat)Sam is a 2 year old domestic cat, who showed up at our door about two years ago. She was a sweetie, but very thin and skittish. Sam delivered two very tiny kittens to my front porch. I nursed them all to good health and found homes for the little ones.
Louie (Yorkie)Louie is a 5 year old Yorkie rescue that we adopted a year ago. He has become my most loyal companion and is a wonderful addition to our family! Louie not only loves to play hide and seek; he also likes to corral our cat for us!

Tommy (Cat)This is my friend's cat, Tommy. My friend Claude and Tommy (who was a stray) live near the Mediterranean in France. My friend is an animal lover and loves cats. He also cares for a hedgehog that lives in his backyard.

Spice, Ayuda, Dicha, and Chacota (Cats)We adopted all but one of these cats from animal shelters. That exception to our method of acquisition is our "wild kitten" Ayuda, who appeared on our acreage early one morning with pathetic mewing fully employed.

Qwerty (Cat)Qwerty is 5 years old. I had gone to a pet store while trying to talk my boyfriend into letting me get pet rats. She was sitting in a cage near the window, and because I love cats, I got distracted and started reaching my fingers through the cage to pet her.
Ozzie (German Shepherd)I bred German Shepherds four years ago and decided to keep Ozzie. He loves to lay on his back and put both front paws in the air. Yes, he is a very different kind of dog. I think he is unique.

Miss Peaches (Miniature Peke-a-Poo)I got Miss Peaches from my daughter almost three years ago. She was the runt and needed extra care. She likes to lick me and let me drive her car while she stands on my knee looking out the windshield. She has never gone into heat, but she has adopted the guinea pig.

Taz (Rat Terrier)Taz is one and a half years old. He is a full Rat Terrier. I got Taz in 2009 for my birthday. Taz likes to go on walks, chase squirrels, play tug-o-war, and most of all, have his tummy rubbed!
Gary Gray (Long Hair Cat)Gary Gray is 7 years old. He has long hair. Gary snuck into our garage one morning and we took him in temporarily, for what we thought would be a trip to the animal shelter. We fell in love with him and decided to keep him.
Thunder (Yellow Lab)Thunder is a 9 year old yellow Lab. I got him 9 years ago, right before my brother was born from a woman in Minnesota. He likes to eat and go for walks. Thunder is a good boy and doesn't bite or bark.
Spencer (Cat)Spencer will be 16 this April. Fourteen years ago, I didn't like cats at all, but my son thought it was a good idea to sneak one into the house! Now that Spencer is pretty old, he mostly sleeps.
Lulu (Cat)Lulu is 1 year and 1 month old. I got Lulu on trash pickup day as I went to retrieve my cans. There was a kitten in a carrier abandoned there! Lulu loves to romp with another family member cat and bat around sponge balls.

Hoku (Cat)This is my beautiful, special friend, Hoku. Hoku means 'star' in Hawaiian. He gives wonderful hugs and will sit in my arms with his paws wrapped around my neck and purr into my ear. We have been friends for almost ten years now, since he was a little kitten.
