HorsesI walk everyday and usually take my camera. I visit the horses a few miles down the road and really enjoy them. Sometimes they surprise me with their playing around and being funny.

Vinegar for Cleaning Bird CagesEqual parts white vinegar and water works great on cleaning bird cages and leaves a fresh scent. Most importantly it is safe for parrots.

Save Parrot Food In Your FreezerIt is recommended that you feed your bird a variety of vegetables for optimal health. I keep a gallon-size plastic zip bag in my freezer for this purpose. I add to it as I have bits and pieces of different items that I don't have enough to do anything with.

Frankie spends most of his days on the large tree branch in his terrarium, often diving below into his water pool. He also spends a great deal of his day having staring contests with our cat!

Clover (Holland Lop)Clover is 2 years old. He is a Holland Lop. We got him at a farm and home store. He loves to nap on our beds. Clover has been a great pet for my young children to learn responsibility for.

Ben, Henry and Tammy Faye (Turkeys)Ben, Henry and Tammy Faye Turkey all hatched in Spring '09. They are Bourbon Reds. I purchased them for pets. They like to stand on the pickup hood and look at themselves in the windshield. Sure does scratch the paint though.

Petunia (Vietnamese Potbellied Pig)This is Petunia, she will be 8 yrs. old this July. She is a Vietnamese Potbellied Pig. We rescued her as a orphan when she was just a few days old. She likes to sunbathe in her kiddie pool and steal my husband's tools when he is outside working.
Chicks (Deer Mouse)She comes to Chicks, I don't know why, she just seems to like it. She is almost two years old. When she was a baby, taking pictures of her was easy. But now that she is older, she doesn't like to sit still for long, but with a tripod it can be done! Chicks is a Deer Mouse.

African Gray ParrotsI would share with you my two little babies. These are African Grays - they are 4 months old. I am still hand feeding them. The biggest one is a male and the smaller one is a female. He is always standing over her just like he is protecting her. It is so cute.
