This is our Persian, Sam! Sam is the intelligent, "nerdy" cat in the Spillers' family, as you can see... he's more the "executive" type! Sam loves to be in the middle of whatever activity is taking place, and here he is helping "Daddy," who is an accountant and income tax consultant who owns his own business and sometimes brings work home at night.
Mr. Friskie and PrincessThese are my fur-babies. The brown tabby is an 8 month old rescue kitty. His name is Mr. Friskie. Princess an 11-year old domestic long hair.
Fred Watching TVMy name is Fred and I think I am 7 years old. I am a shorthair extremely large cat. My owners got me at the local animal shelter in 2001. I had been there the longest and they felt sorry for me. They found out why someone gave me away.
Shadow, Daddy's Little GirlThis is one of our three cats, Shadow! She is so spoiled. She is 4 years old, we have had her and her sister Tigger since they were tiny little things.
Caught! Cookie and ScottieThis is our Jack Russell Terrier; Cookie and cat Scottie. They attack each other all day and fight to sit in daddy's lap and I was worried about this. Untill I went to get a drink of water late at night and "caught" them snuggling. Scottie runs away and it was not easy taking this picture for proof to my hubby that they love each other. They were both rescues and full of love and no matter what I feed them, clean them and after them and they jump first to daddy's lap!!!

Sadie and Her Security BlanketIf you travel with your cat, you know they can have high anxiety in a strange place.
I take my cat with her purple blanket and stuffed animal. She doesn't leave home without it! She feels at home with her stuff and calms her down! Works like a charm!
Nubbins the CatThis is Nubbins. She is only about 4 months old. She came to us while i was in the hospital having surgery. My hubby opened the back door and there she was. Probably not much older then 6-8 weeks. She got her name because she only has a nubbin for a tail. We don't know how she lost it or if she was born that way, but she is the most loving kitty i have ever had. She is an odd slate gray color and she has bright orange eyes. Beautiful kitty.

Boss HoggThis is our new family member Boss (Hogg). He is 6 weeks old, fuzz ball breed. LOL. We found him on freecycle . He came into our family after losing our Harley cat to FLUTD. His favorite thing to do is attack your (my) ankles in the morning while making coffee or sleeping on Dad's shoulders.

Loudy the CatThis is me and my cat, Loudy. I have never been a cat person. Loudy showed up one night and sat on my porched and meowed all night. She was pregnant. She had her kittens and after they were older I had animal control pick them up to see if a home could be found for them. The animal shelter is located over 10 miles from my house. The next evening I heard a cat meowing on my porch. I walked out and there was Loudy. I guess she walked all the way back from the shelter. This convinced me that she belonged at my house and she has been with me ever since.
Cat Chairs - Bunnie and TCI have been looking for something to keep the kitty cats off the couch and bed. I found this Mini Mushroom Chair at Walmart and one of the kitty cats Bunnie (Bobtail), love's it. I also bought two large basket's at AC Moore's for $7.00 and with the coupon they were $5.00.

On this particular day, the camera was not his "friend". He is 1 year old. If you ask him his breed, he'd say human. We took in his momma and she was pregnant at the time. He likes to lay in the sun, sleep, eat, and chase birds.

All About Felix--A Tribute to a Dear BuddyFelix was spoiled rotten. He was jealous of the computer, did not like for me to read a newspaper, or go to bed. He would attack me and then run and hide. He was fastened on a leash and chain when I let him outside. He would give you five, shake your hand and sit up and beg, and he would lay down when I told him to (mostly if he was going to anyway--you know how independent cats are.)
Cat in a Box - Homeless?We have started to kitty sit for the last 4 years. He is 5 years old and is a mixed long hair kitty. He loves to play and also loves to be alone in a quiet place of his own. When he stays here, we feels like he is homeless.

Dino The Miracle KittyThis is Dino. He is 10 months old and we have had him since birth. He is a mixed breed and a miracle kitty. His mom had four kittens, then waited 48 hrs to have a stillborn one, bless her heart. Then out popped my Dino who had been patiently waiting to enter the world. He has a great loving personality and loves to play out on the patio and watch the birds.

Juli and CalliePet's name is Callie, she is 2 year old tricolored calico. Our daughter was wanting a cat for a very long time. Then one day I went to PETCO and they were having a cat adoption day. Callie was the only one that was tricolored. Callie likes to chase flys and paper balls. She also likes to be next to you if you're sick and like most other cats she LOVES to be petted!

Piers the CatThis is Piers, our cat. He's 6 years old and is incredibly patient with our 2 small children. We got him and his sister (who met an unfortunate end a year ago) from one of my husband's co-workers whose cat got friendly with a traveling tom cat. His two favorite activities are lying on our bed and watching the birds at the feeder on our back porch.

Was found on the side of a stretch of Highway 138, with no houses around. My husband pulled over and opened the door, and in jumped the sickly cat. He is doing just great now.
Woobie the CatMy cat's name is "Woobie" He is 8 years old and is a Domestic Medium Hair Orange & White. We got him from my brother-in law who had a barn cat that had kittens and he needed a home. I work for a Veterinarian, so I HAD to take him home with me. For fun "Woobie" likes to chase our Welsh Corgi "Tucker" out of his bed so he can take a nap. As you can see, it works everytime!
CheetosThis our newest member to our family. His name is "Cheetos". He about 6 weeks old. Someone abandoned his mom, him and 3 siblings. All have found new, happy safe homes. He is such a joy to my kids and we all love him dearly.

Ha-ha, these are our new kittens when they were about 9 weeks old playing in the potty chair. My 2 year old is still too young to use it but we wanted him to get used to seeing it, when the kittens decided to make use of it!
HoudiniHoudini loves his perch on our cat pole! He's 8 yrs old and is a shorthair white with orange areas. He was in a litter from a stray and the lady was taking him to the pound the next day! So, I rescued him and he has been my best friend ever since. I am a senior and cannot work part-time anymore because of serious health problems. So, he is such a comfort to me. He follows me around my home and sleeps close by me every night. He loves a laser light and will even chase it up walls as far as he can go! He is the best that a cat can be.

Hendrix the CatHendrix is 8 years young! I got him from a family who was selling kittens in 1997. He likes lots of TLC and affection. He loves to sit by the opened back door to bask in the sunshine. He also has lots of little stuffed animals. He brushes his own fur with a hair brush by putting the brush handle between his paws.

Lil-SamyI found him when he was approx. 2 mos. old. He was lost or abandoned in a mall parking lot. He was so thin, near death. He was hungry, cold and infested with fleas. I took him to my vet. and I now have a beautiful healthy loving kitten.
Peanut and StarPeanut is 2 yrs old (black) and Star is 1 (torti). They both came from foster cat care homes.
