Stress Free Holiday BakingI am in my 60s, and have been baking since I can remember. Every holiday season, I churn out many dozens of cookies for gifts for neighbors, friends and relatives. People ask for certain types every year.

But be sure that your recipient isn't allergic to them. I have a pal who can eat pecans and peanuts but not walnuts, as she's allergic to walnuts.

Remembering Which Ingredients Have Been AddedWhen baking, in order to remember which ingredients have been put into your bowl do this: Place all items to the left of your bowl. As you use them; move to the right of your bowl.

Cookie Baking DayWhen my kids were small, I would bake several batches of cutout type sugar cookies just after Thanksgiving. I used Christmas Theme Cookie cutters and also cut Christmas shapes from cereal box cardboard.
