Sewer Smell Coming from Garbage Disposal?I would like to know how to get rid of the awful odor that comes up through the garbage disposal. It smells like the sewer. I asked a plumber about it, and he said to grind up a quarter of a lime without using water every so often in the disposal. It didn't work for me.

Dishwasher Detergent Stains?Liquid dishwasher detergent was placed in the dispensors and the door to the Dishwasher was closed without locking or starting the cycle. Consequently, detergent has drained through the bottom door edge onto the front panel below. This has left a yellow stain that cannot be removed with even liguid bleach spray from the front panel. Any ideas on how to get this stain off the front of the dishwasher?

Badly Burnt Foreman Grill?What to do? I lent my daughter in law my Foreman Grill and I think she thought it was self cleaning, or was just too lazy. When she returned it, it looks worse then a outside grill. And she wonders why I don't go to her house for dinner. I have tried cleaning it with orange cleaner, vinegar and baking soda. Foiled Burned on Glass Stovetop Burner?I have a smooth glass top stove. I put a peice of aluminum foil on the hot burner. It only was on the glass for a moment. When I removed it, some of the foil melted into the glass. It is not "a lump of foil" that can be easily scapped off with a razor. It actually seems that the foil melted into the glass. I have tried using vinager, salt, oven cleaner,oxiClean, lemon, and baking soda paste. Any other ideas out there?
Soot Stain in Microwave?I tried to reopen an envelope by steaming it in the microwave. Stupid idea. I never gave it a thought though. it wasn't in long but went to ash! The soot stained the inside black and grey. I was able to clean off the loose soot and the dish, I used everything I could think of, ending up with baking soda wipe down.
