Identifying Insect Eggs Found on Wood Deck?Yesterday I saw about 30 of these on the railing of my wood deck. At first I thought they were ants carrying crumbs, but after looking closer I only see a small black dot on the bottom. They seemed to be wiggling some. Today I found even more on the back deck and some on my wood front railing. I am not sure what they are or where they came from!

Tomato Plants Wilting and Dying?My tomato plants have never looked better until a day ago when just like two others I planted, they began to die. There is no discoloration; the color is perfect. I had two other plants in the same spot that when only a foot and a half tall fell ill. I left that spot empty and removed the soil, but these plants are huge, full of tomatoes, but now are just wilting away. It's like they just gave up.

Tomatoes Started Indoors Not Flowering?This is the first time to start seeds indoors. Everything seemed to be going fine. I started 3 types of peppers on about 2/17. I also started tomatoes, the Campari variety that I get from Kroger/Meijer's, etc. They were about 12" high on 4/9, today they are 20" tall and spindly. There are no flowers and not all that many branches. Color is very light green, but not translucent, yet.

Overwintering Elephant Ears?I live in zone 7a. I have elephant ears that I overwintered in the ground and covered with 2-3inches of mulch before the first frost this winter. I cut them down 2-3 inches from the ground before mulching them. I completely covered them. Spring is just about here. I decided to remove the mulch and the 2-3 in of the stem is still there. However, it appears a little rotten maybe? I'm not sure.

Leaves on Avocado Plant Turning Brown and Spotting?It took almost a year to sprout. After 6 months it was doing great, but now it's leaves are turning brown, spotting, and there are brown lesions on the stem. Please help.

Over Wintering an Easter Lily Bulb?I live in Houston, Texas. I purchased an Easter lily in the spring which I kept in its original pot. The plant dried up and I was going to toss it, but I noticed there is still a healthy looking bulb, or cluster of bulbs. (I am not sure, but it looks kind of like a large garlic bulb. Is that one or multiple?)

New Sod Dying?I just replaced a few 10ft. × 10ft. sections of my lawn with some common fescue sod. It needed some regrading of the soil height for drainage purposes. So when I removed the old grass, I made sure to turn the soil up to around 10 in. deep fertilized it and tamped it down to a firm but not solid turf. Then I soaked it down, bought my sod from a reputable nursery and installed it to industry specs.
