In my house, we try to do as much 'handmade' fun as possible. In the almost 12 years I've had children, we've bought Halloween costumes once. Store bought may look better sometimes but it's the home made stuff that brings everyone together. It's the thrifty fun that kids remember as adults and will try to recreate in their own homes!
