Identifying Bed and Breakfast Bath Towels

Identifying Bed and Breakfast Bath Towels?Almost a year ago, we visited a bed & breakfast in Pennsylvania. They had the most wonderful bath towels, the quality I've not seen for years! Please look at the photo (I am that serious about their quality, I took a pic for just this purpose!)

Protecting Plants as They Start to Grow? What is the best stuff to make or buy so that my seeds don't get fungus or get tamped down and croak when they start to grow? This would be for wisteria, crape myrtles, apples and some ornamental grass. Thanks, I love this site.

Growing Seeds in Perlite?I have already started seeds in little jiffy pellets. My question is about starting seeds and rooting cut offs in Perlite. I am re-using plastic tubs that fresh spinach comes in at the supermarkets. How much Perlite should I put into the bottom?

Looking for Tiny Zip-Lock Bags?Could someone tell me where I can purchase the small little plastic zip-lock bags that would hold about a tablespoon of seeds, etc? I don't even know what they are called, nor where to get them, or what's a reasonable price. We want to put seeds, small screws and electronic parts in them to stay organized. About a tablespoon or a little more, not too teeny. Thank you, everyone!

Homemade Mineral Salt Rock Deodorant?Does anyone have a homemade recipe for the natural, organic, mineral salt rock deodorant? I'd like to make this myself, but without the sodium alum which is still a version of aluminum. It's just not as "bad" as the aluminum chlorohydrate.

Removing Sump Pump Oil Stains?Would someone kindly clue me in on how to remove the oil that has poured out of the small, yet monstrous, sump pump? Of course, I opened it by the sink, so it's on the countertop, countertop wood trim, wood cabinet door, my Levi's left leg, and a nice lake like puddle on the open face wood floor. It's a medium weight, clear, petroleum base oil. Thank you way ahead of time.

Taking Apart Computer Equipment?Could someone tell me if there are any hazards to dissecting LCD monitors or flat panel TVs? Also, is there anything hazardous about taking apart computer towers? Any chemicals I should be aware of ( for example, I know not to chew on capacitors)? How should I dispose of defective or dead capacitors, resistors or other thingamabobs in a safe manner? Thank you!

Bugs Inside Mimosa Seed Pods?I thought I was so lucky when a neighbor let me have as many seed pods as I wanted from their Mimosa tree. Next thing I know, while I'm shelling them, I see 90% have a little hole in them from some kind of bug.

Can I Still Start Seeds? We live in Baltimore City, MD. Our hardiness zone is 7. Would you kindly let me know if it is too late to plant seeds? Can I start seeds in peat pots? I put it off, and I'm worried it's too late for this year.

Sewing Terrycloth Towel Seams? We foster a few small pooches, and any "old" cotton bath towel gets cut in half for bath towels or bed liners for warmth. Could someone tell me how I can make a seam for that cut end?

Putting Hair in a Ponytail?Would someone please give me instructions on how to make an ordinary ponytail? I have shoulder-length fine hair. When I make a ponytail to keep it out of my face it looks like I've had an eyebrow lift! Nothing but the aging hipster look, instead of something softer looking for my hair above the ponytail.

Using Plastic Containers in the Garden?Would someone kindly explain to me about plastics in gardening? I would like to use the bottoms of vinegar bottles as starter pots for u-name-its. I'm just worrying if they are outside, in the sun, if anything could taint veggies and herbs grown in them. How do I know when the vessel's life is over?

Washing a Down Jacket? We have been gifted a small sized 75% down jacket, for a petite person. I fixed the zipper, and now we have to find a new owner! So, since we now have a nice little down jacket, how can I launder it safely? The label says "dry clean only" but I do not permit dry cleaning chemicals to touch my skin, much less the unsuspecting new owner.

Making Mapquest Directions Fit on Index Cards?Could someone please tell me how to reduce the size of Mapquest directions? I want to make the spacing between lines "normal" and make it a smaller font? Ideally I would like to be able to print the directions on 3x5 or 4x6 index cards so I don't have the torture of re-entering all the info ad infinitum! Thank you.

Reusing Plastic Tool Storage Boxes? What else can you do with the plastic tool boxes your tools come in? I use my tools frequently, so putting them back in evening isn't practical. So, there are about 7-10 various plastic boxes taking up space in my basement.
