Caesar Salad Recipes

Caesar SaladThis recipe is so much yummier than the bottled/pre-packaged Caesar dressings. It's quick and easy to make and it's fresh.

Ingredients

*I usually remove about four outer leaves for other uses because, okay I am picky, the outer leaves are not as tender and tasty as the inside leaves for such a scrumptious salad) ;-)

Directions

In a small bowl whisk garlic, salt, pepper, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard and mayonnaise. Add olive oil and whisk well.

Place romaine lettuce in a large bowl, add Parmesan cheese and croutons. Toss well. Pour dressing mixture over salad, toss and serve.

Most often I make a double batch of dressing and reserve half for a day or two or even three later. If you do this just be sure to allow refrigerated dressing to come to room temperature or microwave for about ten seconds because the olive oil solidifies when refrigerated.

I love the Good Seasons Gourmet Caesar salad dressing mix, but it is no longer available. Do you have a recipe for it? Much appreciated if you do!

Thanks.

This one isn't the caesar salad one, but the Italian. This might be the one you are looking for.

This isn't the Good Seasons recipe but it's the closest to the very original restaurant Caesar Dressing you'll probably find. ;-)

You can still get it. Google 'Kraft Good Seasons Dressing' and it will show you where! It's my favorite too!
