Changing the seal around the flapper will eliminate water running every two minutes into the bowl! This can add $ to your water and sewer bill every month, I know, I experienced this just recently. If you have more than one toilet in the house, be sure to change the seal on all of them at the same time, once one goes the others are sure to follow.
Keep the bowl clean and I do not suggest you use the colored tablets or those hanging things in the toilet. If you keep it clean, there is no need for these expensive items. By doing regular maintenance on this and all your other fixtures, appliances, and any other item in your house that requires daily use, you will save money in the end by not having expensive repairs done.
