Here's one I like. It will take advantage of the great dates you have in Israel!

RICE KRISPIE DATE BALLS

1 stick butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) chopped dates

1 c. pecans, chopped
1 c. Rice Krispies cereal
1 tsp. vanilla

In saucepan, melt butter and sugar over low heat. Add dates and cook 3 minutes and remove from heat. Add nuts, Rice Krispies and vanilla. When cool enough to handle, form small balls and roll in powdered sugar or coconut.

Cocoa Mixed Rice Krispies
These are the best ones I've ever eaten!

· 1 1/2 cups cocoa rice krispies

· 3 Tbsp. oleo
· 10 oz bag of marshmallows
Directions
Melt butter on stove, melt marshmallows letting them singe just a smidgeon (kind of like campfire marshmallows just barely singed light brown, careful!). Mix in all of rice krispies. Pat out in buttered 13x9 inch pan.

Shalom Ron,
Try taking Rice crispies, and another cereal like captain crunch (dont think you have it there), melt butter, white chocolate, add in cashews or roasted peanuts, pretzels and cool, break apart, really good.

Have you tried going to the Kelloggs website? I'd guess they'd have variations as well as the original recipe. I'm not sure, cuz I've not been looking for such recipes -but it sounds like the best place to start. Good luck!
