I dyed my hair in the beginning of this month, and I wanna know how long will it take to fade all the way out, or to start fading? Is there any way I can make it start fading myself?
Wash your hair everyday with a clarifying shampoo, or any shampoo that is not for colored hair.
Last night, I dyed my hair pink and blue. Well, the blue is ok but the pink is fuchsia. How can I make it more of a pastel pink without losing the colors?
I feel sure there is no way to lighten just 'spots/strips' of your hair - but - a hair stylist may be able to help you.
Is there a beauty school in your area (Google with your zip code)?
Try to wash your hair with anti-dandruff shampoo. The more you wash it, the faster the pink dye will fade. You can do it daily, and youll notice that, in four or five washes, your pink color will fade. Anti-dandruff shampoo is the shampoo that contains the most sulfates. Sulfates remove not only dirt from hair, but dye pigments too.
If youre not in that much of a hurry, then just wait. It will fade in three to four weeks as you wash your hair.
So I went to the hairdresser yesterday. I actually wanted to go for a slightly dark rose gold color, but ended up with quite a bright shade of pink. Although I don't think the color looks bad, it's a little too far out of my comfort zone. I am kind of out of my hairsalon-spending budget so wonder if there is a way to DIY tone the color more to a rose gold?
(For some reason the pictures kind of spazz their way into the question upside down and all.. but I hope you get a good enough look at the hair to get an idea!)
Thanks in advance (:
I dyed my hair plum, but it came out bright purple. How do I tone it down?
Most people will use dandruff shampoo mixed with baking soda to tone down or remove some of the color from their hair. You can try this one. I know the hair dyes like this do not last for a really long time and they wash out rather quickly if you did not strip down your hair before dying it.
Every time I dye my hair, whether salon or box, it turns a brass color. I've tried home remedies and shampoo for colored hair. I do have well water, but this is horrible. My hair color is medium to dark brown. It is just a few shades different than my roots. There is just too much brass.
Help!
I have very hard water and very blond hair what I found works best for me is a clarifying shampoo I get mine at Sally I get the ION brand I use it like every other time I wash my hair works for me hope this helps ps Sally even delivers
Aside from water issues, maybe you are buying the wrong sort of dye.
due to the specific hue of your natural hair, the way to counteract the reddening tendency in hair would be to look for a dye with an ash base as opposed to an auburn/red base.browns can come in ash base or reddish.
I mixed garnet and fuchsia hair colors and it came out a bit too fuchsia. I would like to darken it up to achieve a burgundy like color with less fuchsia . Can I put a darker color over my hair to achieve the results I'm looking for?
And if so, what color do you suggest? The left pic is what it turned out like the right pic is what I'm trying to achieve.I went to the salon about 3 weeks ago to go red. It's not really the shade I want. And my sister absolutely hates it. I'm standing in her wedding, so next week I have an appointment to hopefully fix it. It has faded quite a bit already, which is good.
I'm wondering if I should use a color remover before I see my stylist, or just let her do all the work? I'd like a more natural brownish red, if that's even possible. Thanks :)My daughter's hair turned a bright sangria color and she has a recital in 2 days how can I lighten it?
Please help!
So my sister-in-law asked me to dye her hair. I am not a stylist and have only ever dyed my own hair and not that well. I told her this, but she still wanted me to try. She is biracial so has normally dark brown, very curly hair.
She bought burgundy hair dye. She had a lot of white/gray hair mixed in especially at her roots. The gray/white is now Easter egg purple and she can not have unnatural hair for her job. What can we do about the purple hair? The darker hair dyed nicely. Please help! She goes back to work in 2 days!
I had my dark brown hair highlighted about month ago at a salon. I decided it wasn't for me and went to another salon and had it dyed back my natural color.
But now it's too dark. What can I do?My hair is dyed bright orange. I want to tone it down a bit, keep the orange, but just go for a much darker orange, a more burnt orange. The hair is already bright and light. Would I be able to put a darker orange dye over it without bleaching it?
You would need a dye with an ash tone to tone down the orange brightness.
