Using the Knifty Knitter Flower Loom

Loom and several flowers. This I got on sale for $4.50, was 6 dollars. Totally worth it. It makes the cutest flowers in yarn or raffia. You are supposed to make three passes around the pegs, but I used two different colors of yarn so was a total of 6 times around pegs and was so cute and they are so easy.

One flower takes me about 5 minutes to make. I am adding them to the scarves I made with the Knifty Knitter spool loom. If you like to crochet or knit or even just want to add embellishments this is for you.

Well if you join several together you could make a waistcoat.

This site has connections to a variety of things you can make with the flower or Daisy loom from toys to shawls. I know you can also make placemats and afghans (make white and yellow flowers and connect with green or blue and it looks lovely.

I have seen purses and hats done with the daisy loom. Actually anything you want to make you can once you get the technique down. Kinda think outside the box LOL. Never know you might come up with something no one has before :-) Glitz

Hats knit type for doll or premmies but there are larger looms. There are also patterns for pot holders and scrafs

Are you talking about a Knifty Knitter flower loom (kind of a peach color, 12 pegs), or a Bloom Loom?

I am assuming by a flower loom you mean the round loom with pegs all the way around? If so, it is really easy. I do it all the time. The best instructions I found on the net were here:

The scarf I made I just made it the length I wanted and then tied off the ends and cut off the fringes.

I saw a pretty lacy scarf online somewhere that was made on a flower loom; no flowers, just lacy crochet. I can't seem to find it in my searching now. Any ideas?
