Any favorite dehydrators suggestions out there?

Nesco makes a real workhorse of a dehydrator, the beehive stackable kind. They've just updated their design with the motor on top. This prevents the motor from being flooded with sticky water dripping from the food (the older model had the motor on bottom), but the heat flow is a bit less since it is now being forced unnaturally downward. Still, our last Nesco worked for a good three or four years, going almost nonstop the entire harvest season---good brand.
I am living in Mexico for the time being. I will be returning to the states next month and want to get food dehydrator. It would be wonderful here.
I am considering purchasing a food dehydrator ASAP. I have huge harvests of figs daily! Any advice and reviews of any types used before will be greatly appreciated.
