I went to their website today (December 26, 2010) and it says that they now accept card fronts year-round. To clarify, St. Jude's Ranch for children is not for sick children, it is a home for abused, neglected children. This is taken from their website:
"St. Jude's Ranch for Children serves all abused, abandoned and neglected children and families, creating new chances, new choices and new hope in a safe, homelike environment."

Is it true that St. Jude is unable to accept Hallmark and Carlton cards, even if one is only submitting the card front?
Yes. They cannot accept card fronts from Hallmark, American Greetings, or Disney as their 'works' are copyrighted.

Do you have any information about this? I just checked their site and it still says that they do not want them

Wow, that's brand new. I checked the site on 12/18/18 and they still had a message that they were no longer taking them.
