Cracker Crumbs on Wooden Cutting BoardInstead of using bread crumbs or bread for your meatloaf mix, save the crumbs from the bottom of the chips, crackers, Fritos, Dorito's, even seeds from bread sticks. Just save them in a old bread bag and crush them together. You will not need to salt your meat loaf. Don't worry about the crumbs being stale, when it cooks in the oven you will never know.

To save money and not waste cookies, take left over animal crackers, graham crackers, teddy grams, etc. and grind them up. I then measure them into baggies, 1 cup at a time, and freeze the bags. To use in recipes, pie crusts, 7 layer bars, etc.

Instead of throwing away leftover cookie crumbs or leftover pretzel crumbs, use them for a pie crust. Just substitute either of them for the graham cracker crumbs called for in the recipe you use.
