A stack of brownies with nuts. One of my family's favorite dessert is a brownie. This recipe is one I use often because it is quick, easy, and tasty!

  • 3/4 cup sugar (or a bit less)
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:

Preheat oven or convection to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9 inch baking pan with cooking spray.

In a bowl, cream together cream and sugar until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time until well blended. Add honey and mix well. Gradually add in the flour, cocoa, and salt and stir until well combined. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from edges of the pan.

Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Cooking Time: 25 Minutes

Source: I found this recipe in the Best Recipes from the backs of boxes, bottles, cans, and jars cookbook that I have had for years.
