I used a product called LIME OUT from Home Depot. It worked very well.It removes mineral deposits, lime, rust and calcium as well as other stuff I am sure.It came in a 1.5 bottle and cost 3 bucks at the time I bought it.

Try Bring-It-ON water spot remover. It's a paste that you wipe on, leave on for a few minutes to dissove the minerals, and wipe off. Invented by a gal that got tired of trying things that didn't work!

I have a well and the water tends to leave a rusty color on everything, including my sun room windows. They look like they are tinted. I have tried everything. What will clean this rusty residue off my windows?

At one time I owned a janitor service. When there was anything on a window that was hard to remove, I would use fine steel wool, sometimes it helps to wet it slightly. I'm not talking about steel wool soap pads.

You can find fine steel wool at hardware stores like Home Depot. This is a lot of work, so only go to this method if you can't find a cleaner that will work for you.

I am not much help with this. I used to have shower door and I swore I would never have them again. I now have a shower curtain that I can replace much more cheaply than shower doors when the begin to look bad.

Bar Keepers Friend, as someone suggested is an excellent product. I use it also on my cooktop stove.

I've had good luck scrubbing with salt to remove hard water stains.

I bought a car recently and it has water spots all over the car. It's so bad that it has become part of the paint job, and the windows are so bad that you can barely see out of them.

I've tried the vinegar and that does not work. I don't think the owner before ever washed the car. So I'm worried I will not find anything to work on something this severe. I even tried scrapping with a razor. It got the dirt layer off but the spots are not leaving. Please I need the help with my situation!
