This makes a great pie type casserole. The 'crust' is outstanding!

Ingredients:

4 cups soft bread cubes
2 Tbsp. onion, minced
1/2 tsp. celery salt

1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. sage
1/4 cup margarine, melted

Filling:

6 Tbsp. margarine
6 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. celery salt
2 cups milk
2 cups flaked fish
1 cup corn flakes

Directions:

Combine first 7 ingredients for crust. Press into baking dish. Bake at 375 degrees F for 15 minutes.

For filling: Melt margarine; stir in flour and seasonings. Add milk gradually, stirring until thickened. Add fish and cereal. Pour into baked crust. Bake at 425 degrees F for 10 minutes.

Prep Time: 20-30 Minutes

Cooking Time: 25 Minutes

Recipe for Fish Casserole. Put soup into a saucepan. Add cheese and heat until it has melted. Stir in one egg yolk at a time and mix thoroughly.

Remove from fire and add the soft bread crumbs and fish.
