I've done so much for so long with so little, that now I can do anything with nothing.

"Do what you can, where you are, with what you have." It always makes me stop and think about what I want to do and if I can accomplish it without having to buy anything for the project.
Does anyone remember all the words to the saying: use it up, make do, do without... I can't remember all the words and I would like to use the saying in my newsletter.
Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without.
Thank you for your help! My sister-in-law and I are starting a newsletter for our family about cutting costs and being frugal and I thought that this saying would be good for our first issue.
if you can do without it don't get it
Use it up; wear it out; make it do or do without!
Make do best you can with what you got!
Think of it as a game - every time you save you earn invisible points, which you can then spend on something else!
I could well be wrong but I think it is:
Use it up,
Wear it out,
Make it do,
Or go without.
