I feel very fortunate to live in North Georgia where we have a lovely year-round seasonal display of color. A wonderful friend recently asked me to join her for a day of outdoor enjoyment at Gibbs Gardens, where fall has splashed its autumnal shades everywhere and The Valley Gardens were spectacular as the season comes to an end.
This photo was shot in Spearfish Canyon, South Dakota. I was crossing this little stream and noticed the color of the water. I was captivated by the colors from the leaves' reflections.
One thing I love about living in North Carolina is we get to enjoy the 4 seasons. However, I have had enough hot humid weather and I am so looking forward to cooler days and fall colors.
I love the way the colors blended in the tops of the trees. This was taken on a city street.
This is my maple tree in my front yard with all the colors changing.
A friend asked me to come over to his house about 4:00 in the afternoon. This was in the fall and the trees were in full color. The sun was on the trees and the reflection in the water was beautiful!
I was admiring the fall foliage while waiting for a bus in my town. The turning of the leaves doesn't last long here but when it happens it's quite beautiful.
As I was walking through the forest at Rockwood Park, I came along this place. I went back home grab my camera. I came up with this one, my favorite.
The lighting was perfect reflecting off the leaves in the front. I love photgraphing fences. This looks amazing with the water!
We have been camping in this park all summer. Its a bitter sweet moment when the fall comes in Canada. Campers are few and the weather is turning cool at night. The true beauty to look forward too, is the changing colors of the trees.
In the complex I live in here in Salem, OR, I came upon a magical sight!
