May 13, 2010

A woman using a pore strip for blackheads on her nose.Remove blackheads easily with plain old white glue. Yes, not only is it fun to peel dried glue, it works great on areas such as the nose, chin, and forehead to remove blackheads and is much more effective than the usual peel off mask and it's less expensive. Happy peeling!

I have a large and easily visible blackhead on my cheek. I have already tried Garnier cream (blackhead eliminating scrub with charcoal), but it didn't work for me. Please guide me to the best cream or treatment to deal with this problem.

Tweezerman and other companies make a blackhead remover tool. Make sure it is very clean each time you use it.

I am suffering from skin problems. My nose is surrounded by black marks. Whenever I pinch them, white colored small material comes from it. What kind of treatment should I use or which kind of doctor should I consult?

A dermatologist is the doc for you. Before you spend all that money try very warm water on a cloth and just hold it on your face for a few minutes. Ask your local pharmacist about a soap which will help you. The blackheads will eventually go away so don't risk permanent damage by picking at them.

I have heard that if you put a thin coat of Elmer's glue on your nose, let it dry then peel it off, that the blackhead contents will peel off with the glue. Can't hurt to try! Good luck!

Biore strips, which are overpriced, will do the trick, but so will duct tape. With your skin clean, just press it on, leave for about a minute, and peel off.

Use an astringent to shrink the pores afterward because oil clogs the pores and builds up to form blackheads.

Here is a simple way to make your own blackhead removing strips. I used to spend $10 per box (which lasted me 2 weeks) for many, many years.

Smear Elmer"s glue on your face with your fingers. Let it dry completely, and then peel it off.

Or you can buy little blackhead tools at any beauty supply store that will help remove them.

When I was younger, I washed my face with phisoderm and a buff puff it cleared them up. It's a ph balanced face wash in a bottle not medicated by the clearasil. Don't know if it's still sold.

White Elmer's glue. Put it on kind of thick, but not so much that it runs down your face. Allow it to dry, and then peel off. It will peel some blackheads out when you peel it off.

I'd do it as often as you can stand. I have a little tool that I bought at Wal-Mart that has a little wire loop on one end, it removes blackheads too.

Wash face and open pores with warm water. Apply a paste of baking soda and water. When it begins to dry rinse with hot water, then splash with cool water. Perfectly clean!

Read on the web about aspirin facials. Aspirin breaks down into acetisylisalic (sp?) and acetic acid.
The first is used in many mild peeling lotions and the later is what's in vinegar, also good for light

peeling. Anything that gets the skin life/death cycle going a tiny bit faster, like a cornmeal scrub, should open up pores and help with blackheads.

Don't try the toothpaste scrub! I tried it once and it stung SO bad. Just try putting toothpaste on it, and don't scrub. I've heard that that works too. Also try the goats milk. Sorry if this came in too late for you.

To not get Blackheads; keep your hands clean & keep them away from your face (or wherever the blackheads are) & don't touch the area. Wash your face when it gets dirty, but don''t over-do it or you'll make more oils & each night use an astringent cleaner & on round 100% cotton pads to cleanse the pores (you'll have to rub slightly hard). But to actually get rid of any blackheads you now have, I'd suggest going to a spa & having a facial.

This is what a facial is for, to remove blackheads. These guys do it for a living! This will be the best 30 - 50 bucks you've ever spent! & don't get a facial right before a big event because it takes 2 or 3 days to have your face recover from one.

* You can also try those "Biore" pads:
