Please, do nothing. That is his personality.
Judy, I had the same problem and here is what I did. I took an ACE bandage, positioned his ears the way I wanted them, and secured them with the bandage for a 2 week period. Each day I would unwrap and clean his ears and let the air get to them for no longer than 30 min, then re-wrap.
Hi could I have your details I have a 7 month old miniature dachshund and his ears are folding I seen a comment on a post and feel like you could help me
Thanks
Just love him, we all have faults and they never say anything when we are having a bad hair day. Its just part of his character.
Wanting your dog's ears to look a certain way and investing effort to do so, doesn't means you love your dog any less. I have a German Shephers, Terrier, Beagle mix who's ears will make her ridiculed if I let them stand out to the sides like huge bat wings versus her long cute beagle ears.
I too love my mixed breed
My dachshund puppies have ears that stick out what can be done about it

I have a four month old Chihuahua Dachshund mix. He had the traditional dachshund ears that flop over and now his ears kinda crease down the middle the long way and kinda stick out.
I have a 2 year old miniature Dachshund. Recently his ears have begun to fold; they now look like two fortune cookies. Is there a way to tape his ears to train them to be floppy again?
