Buying Souvenirs While Traveling

Buying souvenirs in a Turkish shop.When we travel, instead of buying "regular" souvenirs, we ONLY buy Christmas Ornaments for ourselves. Then every year as we decorate the tree, we remember our trip.

We also buy them for any one else on our souvenir list That way, they have something they will use every year. For the last 15 years or so, everyone has been VERY happy with their gifts!

While doing our frugal travel to Arizona this summer, I realized that part of my travel fun is visiting local second hand, thrift stores, and even garage sales. Often I see regional team, theme parks and other tourist stop items are available there used.
