This is a quick and easy sorbet that doesn't require an ice cream maker. A bit of heavy cream pureed with ripe fruits make for an excellent treat once frozen. I love this for hot summer days!
*Taste your puree before popping in the freezer to see if you'd like to add a teaspoon or two of sugar or sugar substitute. The fruits I used here were sweet enough, but not all fruits are alike. :)

This is a cool refreshing summer treat. It isn't too sweet and makes good use of cantaloupe seasonal sales! No cholesterol.
In a medium saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, allspice and water. Bring to a boil; boil 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, stir in raspberries.
Combine gelatin and sugar in a medium saucepan; stir in water. Let stand 1 minute. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until gelatin dissolves.
