blueberries in bag 2The farmer's market had a great deal on blueberries recently, so we bought a flat of them. There were too many to use right away so I decided to freeze some for later.

Supplies:

  • blueberries
  • gallon ziplock bag

Steps:

  1. Sort through the blueberries, removing any yuck ones and picking off the stems.

NOTE: It is recommended that you do not rinse the blueberries prior to freezing. Instead rinse them prior to use.

  2. Line a cookie sheet or shallow pan with wax paper. Then spread the blueberries out in a single layer. Place them in the freezer and allow them to freeze completely.
