Has anyone every tried putting 4 to 8 ounces of cream cheese, evaporated milk, and a small can of sliced mushrooms in their tuna casserole recipe? I did along with the normal ingredients of cream of mushroom soup and diced onions stirred into elbow macaroni. I fixed it last week and it was fantastically smooth and creamy. The family just loved it! They are asking me to fix it again and soon. Anyway, I just wanted to know if anyone has ever tried it before? If you haven't, do try it as a smooth twist on an old American favorite.

A quick and easy (and delicious!) way to serve tuna as a main dish.
Take the tuna and put into a sauce pan w/the water;stir w/whisk until lumps are out. Add the butter, salt and pepper simmer until very hot. Serve soup mixture over the cooked rice.
Cook pasta according to the package direction but use the lowest time so pasta is still very firm. Saute onions in a bit of oil or butter until translucent. Drain pasta and rinse with cool water to stop cooking.
Mix in order and add a small amount of milk and blend thoroughly. Roll out some more crackers and sprinkle over top and dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees F until brown, about half an hour.
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Drain peaches and reserve liquid. Prepare sauce mixes according to package directions, using peach liquid plus enough water to make 2 cups.
Prepare macaroni and cheese according to box directions. Add remaining ingredients. Pour int a 1 qt. baking dish and bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees F.
Empty the tuna and soup into a 9x13 inch casserole dish. Fill the two soup cans with milk and add it to the dish as well. Crunch up the bag of potato chips and add it to the dish.
Combine first 5 ingredients and form into balls. Place tuna balls in buttered casserole dish. Combine the soup and the milks; pour over the tuna balls. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.
Cook noodles in boiling salted water and drain. Make a white sauce of butter, flour and milk. Add chopped eggs, fish and seasonings.
Mix all together in a baking dish and cover with grated cheese and bake in oven at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.
Reserve 1 cup of shoestring potatoes for topping. Combine remaining potatoes with other ingredients. Pour into 1 1/2 quart casserole. Arrange reserved potatoes on top.
Cook macaroni using package directions. Beat cream cheese and soup in bowl until smooth. Add next 5 ingredients and macaroni, mixing well. Pour into 1 1/2 qt. casserole.
Easy, quick, and even the kids like it. Prepare the Sidekicks according to instructions just before the noodles are done, add veggies and strained tuna.
Cook broccoli, no salt, arrange in casserole dish. Flake tuna over broccoli. Heat soup, milk and cheese until melted. Pour over tuna. Combine bread crumbs and margarine.
Dump all the ingredients into a greases 2 qt casserole and mix together. Bake at 370 degrees F. for about 45 minutes.
A staple that can always be stretched to feed company. Partially cook the macaroni, drain. Add the soup and tuna stir.
Boil noodles till tender, rinse and drain. Mix with butter and paprika until highly colored. Sauce: Melt butter, saute onions and pepper, then add soup, milk, Worcestershire sauce, tuna and nutmeg.
