Melt butter in saucepan. Add onion, saute' until tender. Add flour and salt. Stir until smooth. Add the 2 cups milk with 1/2 cup dry milk added.
In large skillet, saute' chopped onion in margarine until slightly browned and tender. Add tuna, soup, and milk to the skillet.
Cook noodles in salt water until tender. Drain. Flake the tuna with a fork. Mix with noodles, peas and mushroom soup. Turn into greased baking dish.
Not really a casserole since you don't bake it but so simple and really good.
Tuna with tasty onions, and sweet basil. I've been making this for many years and often have it requested by family.
