You can find many, many recipes online if you Google "homemade laundry soap". I've been making my own for a couple of years now and can't begin to tell you how much money it has saved someone on a fixed income. I also make my own liquid fabric softener, dishwasher soap and color safe bleach. Try one recipe at a time and see which you like and works best for you. Have fun!
