The cord you plug into the adapter on my electric blanket falls out with every move. I have a throw blanket and the cord just will not stay attached. I tried to return it but had lost the receipt so they would not allow me to exchange it.
I have the auto heating blanket that doesn't list a manufacturer. It's a 3-prong power cord and the label on the blanket the Model# E-23623 &
These heating blankets can sometimes use a generic cord, but it would take a parts company with special lists that show what cord will fit several different brands.
Sears Service Centers usually have lists showing what cord will fit different blankets. You might try contacting them to see if they can help you.

eBay may have a cord, but I would not recommend buying one of these unless you know for sure that it is the right one.
Where can I find a plug like this for a heated throw blanket?
It will probably be difficult to find a replacement controller for your heated blanket...and if you do find it, the controller will likely cost close to what a brand new heated blanket will be.
I have an electric blanket that's kinda old and am needing a replacement cord. I don't know the manufacturer or anything. On the label all it says is Automatic Electric Blanket RN 172(8orS)0 style 13 - 180.
Watts 110 - 120 Volts A.C. Only. Says for service or repair return to Waynesboro, Mississippi 39367. Please any help will be appreciated.I would be very careful about purchasing a 'used or generic' as only an approved cord should be used.
I would suggest you contact the place stated on your tag.
This is a repair service for many brands but you can tell them all of the numbers on your tag and they can tell you the manufacturer of your blanket.
They may have a replacement cord for your blanket.
Some of the links will have the same addresses and numbers so just pick a number and start calling; some links will say 'Sunbeam' but that does not matter as they will direct you to the correct department.

I'm just curious, if controls for an electric blanket are interchangeable. My fur baby chomped on the old one! I still love her!
I wouldn't advise that, most electric blanket cords may work, but could also short out, becoming a hazard in triggering fuses, outages, and even fire. You can also contact the brand/company for the answer to be safe.
Where can I get a replacement controller for a full size electric blanket by Westerly, purchased at Ocean State Job Lot?
I'm assuming your blanket is no longer under warranty and since Ocean State Job Lot is just a sales outlet they will most likely not be able to help you but you might call and ask just to be sure or try asking for information at this site:
If your controller has just stopped working you might want to check out this site to see if you can get it to working again:
www.hunker.com/
If you so longer have your controller then you're probably in trouble as some controllers for brand name items can sometimes be found on eBay or other sites but I did not see any Westerly controllers shown anywhere.
Here is a site that claims to have all brands so contact them but you may need your blanket model number.

Another suggest would be to contact your local Sears Service Center as they service almost all brands and they have a great list of generic items that will fit many brands. They have found replacements for me and usually less money. Worth a try maybe. They may need to see your blanket to be sure of size/etc. but call first as some stores are not open right now.
I can only think of one other kinda far fetched thing to try but if you're desperate??
Place a 'wanted ad' on social media sites that you belong to as well as Craigslist, FreeCycle, NextDoor, Facebook Marketplace.
Also, be sure to check thrift stores as you may find a similar one to try (I see them in stores for $2 or less so not much to loose just to try it for size/etc.

Unfortunately, they are not selling the exact controller online that is for your blanket. I do see they sell the new blankets online that come with the controller. There are a few shops online that do sell generic controllers but this one is a long shot. Some of the universal controllers will work with the blanket but most of the time they don't work at all. It appears that your blanket is out of warranty and therefore you can't take it back to the market t get a replacement for the one you have. I found a few that have helped me in the past on this website. www.hygienesuppliesdirect.com/
Where can I buy the plugin+cord for this Silvercrest heated underblanket?
Mine just stopped working, I opened it and it seems that a very small welded piece came out of the main thing. It has 6 heat settings:
Rapid warm up
Extra-warm foot zone
Automatic shut-off: adjustable to 1/3/6/12 hour(s)
Automatic switch down mode: after approx. 3 hours (from level 5 and 6 to level 4
Breathable, soft fabric for extra comfort whilst sleeping
Electronic safety system
Easy-care and hygienic machine washable at 30°C (hand wash cycle)
Size: approx. 150 x 80cm
Output: 60W
Best Regards.
What is unfortunate is that companies who sell these items never offer replacement parts for the items they sell. The blankets are considered throw away items because it is hard to find the exact cord you need to fix your blanket. I have checked several sites online that I know sell different replacement cords and yours is not listed. I am not sure if you have tried to contact the company to see if they offer this but on the website I do not find these available. The replacement cords are not that cheap and for a few dollars more you could buy a new blanket. You may consider this and just get a new one. Then you can just use this blanket on the bed without the heating element.
I have an electric blanket that is missing a cord. The model is A-83313. The manufacturer is Automatic Blanket Plant in Smithfield, NC.
Another number here is Listed Blanket 341-B, E15945. Can I even find a replacement?Finding a replacement cord for this vintage blanket will be extremely difficult but you may be able to find a 'generic' or one from another company that will fit.
Your Automatic Blanket Plant in Smithfield, NC blanket seems to also belong to the Fieldcrest Cannon company but this company also closed in 1997 so there is no place to contact about a replacement.
There is a listing for replacements for another model presently listed for sale on eBay but I'm not sure how you could find out if it would fit your blanket. You might ask them to send more detailed pictures so you can try to match yours. Usually the companies do not change the size/type of controllers when they make a 'newer' model but only you can tell about this.
I would contact them right away if you think it might work.
The only other suggestion that I have is to try your local Sears Service Center as they may be able to supply you with one that will fit. Google Sears Service Center with your zip code and you may be lucky and find just what you need.
