Uses for Frisbees

August 10, 2007

frisbee bird feederMy family always seems to have an overabundance of frisbees (mostly free promotional giveaways) - and since you only need one or two for actually throwing around the back yard, I started repurposing them for other uses.

Pet dish - when you're out roughing it with your dog, a Frisbee works well as a food or water dish.

They could also be used for drip catchers under potted plants, or under a can of paint in case you're messy. A frisbee would also be a good coaster for a giant's drink!

Frisbees make great, inexpensive dishes for hiking and backpacking, especially the ones you can get for free as promo materials at a fair or festival.

Heres another frisbee idea. Spray with non stick spray, and fill w/cement or mosaic cement. Before it dries, lightly push in flat backed marbles or broken china, write words, names or sayings and you have a cheap and easy mosaic stepping stone for your garden.
