Topping:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Mix the baking mix and sugar, and cut in the butter. Add the milk and egg, and beat well for about 30 seconds (by hand).
For the topping, mix the sugar with the flour, and cut in the butter and milk. Mix in the peanut butter.
Grease and flour a 9x9 inch pan. Spread 1/2 of the batter into the pan. Sprinkle on 1/2 of the topping. Cover with the rest of the batter, and sprinkle the rest of the topping on top. Bake for about 25 minutes.
Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream. Chocolate is particularly good.

I saw the request for the sourdough starter and it reminded me that I have a nice Sourdough Coffee Cake Recipe. I have already sent a starter recipe to feedback but wanted to share this recipe with you too.
Delicious! Spray 9x13 inch baking dish with PAM. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Mix butter with mixer until light and fluffy. Gradually add sugar beating well. Add eggs and beat well.
Beat eggs; add sugar, shortening, milk and vanilla. Add flour and baking powder. When well mixed, add chocolate chips. Pour into a large greased 9x13-inch baking pan.
