I think that they were not housebroken very well. That means they know what they are suppose to do but get lazy and probably have always gotten away with that. Keeping them confined is best. With two of them you might not always know which one did the deed. Start out by useing the words lets go potty outside or any words that you want to use. Just make sure you always say the same thing when it is time to go potty. Take small treats. When one goes say good potty and give treat. When the other one goes say the same thing and give treat.

If they don't go they don't get a treat. Always say good Potty when they go. I can't stress that enough. It won't take long and they will get the hang of it. Just stay on top of it and start at two hour intervals to take them out for a couple of days and then 3/12 hrs for a couple of days and so on. In a few weeks you will see that they understand the potty and treat idea and you can drop the treats at that point. Good Luck it just takes consistancy and patience.

I picked up a Pom X from the pound she is 18 months old, and am looking for some sort of dog obedience classes in the Mermaid Beach Gold Coast area. Though she is quite obedient there are still things which I would like her to obey and do.

Does anyone know of such classes, I would like it that there are other dogs as she tends to start barking when she sees bigger dogs.
