July 9, 2004

Man Repairing a Ceiling FanMy ceiling fan was making a squeaking sound when turned on. My husband said we needed rubber bands that they sell to put around the base of the light fixture. The originals ones had dryrotted which caused the squeaking. I promply handed him 1/4 inch rubber bands that I had in my "junk drawer". Voila! No more squeaking ceiling fan.
