I need help for the holidays. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Depends on what kind of help you need. I think most of the charities have met their quotas for the year. They usually start taking applications right after Thanksgiving. If you really need help you must have social worker through the Department of Social Services. Contact that person and see if they have any ideas. Here in South Dakota the two major places have a higher than average request list and are behind on donations. Everybody is having a harder time this year. Some of the charities also have income guidelines. No matter who you are giving gifts too, you can usually find something at dollar stores or thrift stores.
