Repairing a Soap Dispenser

August 24, 2010

Blue Mosaic Soap DispenserMore than once, I have had a bathroom hand soap dispenser that "leaks" rust on my white sink edge where the dispenser sits. I have really liked the dispensers and not wanted to throw them away. I cut the shape of the bottom of the dispenser out of an old mouse pad that I no longer want. I use high quality craft glue (waterproof) and glue the piece of mouse pad to the bottom of the dispenser. The mouse pad provides just the barrier the dispenser needs. This has saved much grief!
