I wouldn't use a color that is too dark or there will be too much of a contrast with all that white, but any medium-light color should work.
What is the color palette in the rest of your home? That is the key. You have a nice base to start from so could go any direction that fits your style. Just keep it light.
When I was taking home-ec YEARS ago, we were taught that you should choose one color from a room to carry into the adjoining room. Say you had a room with green walls and you used rust, yellow, etc.
