clamsGreat recipe and easy to double for a crowd.

Ingredients:

  • 2 (6 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 small clove garlic, crushed and finely minced
  • Advertisement

  • 1 (7 oz.) can minced clams, drained
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • dash ground cayenne pepper or hot pepper sauce (to taste)
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Directions:

Mix the cream cheese, mayonnaise, and garlic together until smooth.Add minced clams and blend in remaining seasonings. Chill clam dip thoroughly.

Note: I use the minced garlic that comes in a jar (refrigerated).

Mix above ingredients. Add a little milk if not of dipping consistency.

Mix above ingredients except fresh veggies until well blended. Serve with vegetables such as carrots, celery, cauliflower or asparagus for dipping.

Have cheese at room temperature. Combine all ingredients in double boiler and cook until cheese is melted. Season to taste. Serve with crackers.
