1 6 ounce package chocolate chips
2 ounces butter
1/4 cup corn oil
In a double boiler (or microwave) melt the chips and butter together. When melted add oil, stir and pour over ice cream. It will harden because of the coldness of the ice cream.

Dairy Queen-Style Hard Chocolate Sauce
Ingredients:

6 ounces chocolate chips
1/2 stick butter or margarine
1/4 cup corn oil

Directions:
In a double boiler melt chips and butter together. When melted, add oil. Pour over ice cream and it will harden!

Easy, pleasy, nice and easy. Melt chocolate chips and butter in a double boiler. Add oil and mix well. Spoon over ice cream and you'll have a hard chocolate shell.
