Because I work in the apparel industry, I thought a button tree would look nice on my desk for the holidays. I used red and green yarn to tie buttons onto a miniature Christmas tree in place of ornaments.
Another miniature tree uses my holiday earrings in place of ornaments.
Decorating a tiny tree? You can use all sorts of odd things on it. I clipped a bunch of hair clips with red decorative buttons on them onto the branches of one small tree, just the right scale.
