Sharpie on Leather
If you accidentally mark up a pair of leather shoes or any other leather good, you can use Outdoor Saddle Soap to remove the stain. Simply apply and scrub with an old washcloth. It may take several scrubbings, but eventually your leather will look like new. good luck.

Rubbing Alcohol will remove the mark. Use paper towels & alcohol. I like to put the alcohol in a well-marked spray bottle then spray the alcohol on, then wait a few seconds, then wipe it off then do it again until the mark is gone.

If you have no luck use fingernail polish remover (which is stronger & can also remove the shoe polish as well). Lastly camouflage by polishing with a high quality white shoe polish.... This covers a multitude of stains!

*I use rubbing alcohol to remove permanent pens in my business all the time, & it's always worked for me! It will at least remove most of the mark, cover the rest with shoe polish. Cream works best, but liquid is also okay. Buy the kind for white nurses shoes.

I have used mosquito spray (off) on a paper towel to remove permanent marker. Good luck.

My girlfriend thought I was cheating on her so she wrote another girl's name in permanent marker on my leather steering wheel. I wasn't cheating and now I can't get the marker out. I've tried everything, alcohol and ammonia don't work.

Please help!

Nail polish remover might work, but leather is a very porous and very absorbant surface.

The bug spray Off might work too...it works to remove permanent marker from almost anything.

How do you get black Sharpie permanent marker off a saddle? I have already tried hairspray and alcohol and neither worked.

Use the bug spray "off". It's super useful. Apply it on a piece of cloth then rub the ink off using the cloth.

I didn't get any Sharpie on my leather furniture, but I got it on my leather phone case. Any ideas of how to get it off?

I don't need to get it off straight away, but it would be great if you could help.

Write over it with a dry erase marker. Then wipe off.

I wouldn't use rubbing alcohol on the leather as it will dry it out. You can get leather cleaner that may help.

I would try a magic eraser first and then give it a good wipe/rub with the leather cleaner.
