This beautiful perfume delight was grown in my own front yard this past summer.
This is my first rose blossom of the season; it is a tea rose from Bellengrath Gardens in Alabama; it has such a beautiful fragrance that no perfume could "hold a candle" to it!
This rose begins with a light color with light pink coloration with darker pink outlines on the outer petals. As it matures, the coloration gets darker...
This rose has the color of 2 plants, yellow and pink. I think that is because it is too close to my red rose plant. It is beautiful though.
My mom gave me this rose bush several years ago. I don't know what the name of it is. I call it Mama's Rose. I started taking better care of it 3 1/2 years ago after my mom suddenly passed away. I always trimmed it back every year and I had no idea that it would climb.
This is my new mini rose garden in the back yard. DH added a mini fountain and small solar lights to the area. We have a solar lighted umbrella and rockers added to face the little rose garden, all in containers.
My Confederate Rose in full evening bloom. It has a baby grasshopper on board.
This rose bush in my backyard has bloomed in orange for the past 5 years. This year it has added a bit more color, we have one branch with yellow blooms!
Here is my Double Delight Rose. It's the only rose in my garden that has an exquisite aroma, besides being so gorgeous.
My supermarket had many of these discounted to $1.99. I fell in love with this color and am hoping it will grow into a large bush.
Resting, rocking, meditating or praying; all are made more lovely by the view of roses. Belinda's Dream rose invites us all to dream.
