Cafe Bavarian Mint: Cafe Cappuccino Cafe Swiss Mocha Cafe Vienna French Vanilla

Directions:

Processes in a blender on liquefy until well blended and store in an airtight container.

Does anyone out there have a recipe for instant swiss mocha coffee? Maxwell house international coffees makes the original but it's way too expensive (when you gobble up as much as i do).

Well, my morning drink every day is a HEAPING spoonful of plain baker's unsweetened cocoa powder, a couple big scoops of Splenda, a slightly heaping teaspoonful of instant coffee, stirred together in the bottom of my 16oz cup. then I fill half full with boiling water, stir for 20 seconds to avoid having lumps, then fill it on up with milk. Very satisfying. Enjoy your experimenting!

Swiss Mocha Coffee Mix

1/2 cup instant coffee

1 cup sugar

1 cup instant dry milk powder

1/4 cup powdered coffee creamer

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa

1/4 cup vanilla flavored instant pudding mix (optional, but very good)

Measure all of the ingredients into a clean, dry bowl. Use a fork to combine everything evenly. If you are ambitious, you can powder everything in a blender. I don't always do this because I am lazy. You do get really impressive results from it though, and it is easier to do than one would expect. Transfer the mixture to a resealable container, or a pretty jar.

To Prepare: Measure 3 or 4 tablespoons into a coffee cup. Fill it up with hot water (about 3/4 cup) and stir to dissolve.

This is a very sweet and chocolaty coffee. It is almost as good as hot chocolate for curling up with on a cold winter night. If you decide to make it a bed time snack, then you might want to use decaffeinated instant coffee, instead of regular. The vanilla pudding mix makes your homemade mix dissolve better in water. It also gives a pleasant vanilla flavor to the coffee that marries perfectly with the rich chocolate.

One that hasn't been mentioned is Tang, the orange instant breakfast drink. Years ago I made the ones with cocoa + instant coffee. You can always add vanilla when you make regular coffee.

I like the idea of pudding mix for flavor. I'de try adding a small amount to one cup just to try before I'de make a whole batch.

If I was doing it today, I'de use artificial sweetner, powdered milk, and some coffee creamer to the base flavor to try and the pudding mix. I'de experiment.

Goofs can always be watered down, spiced up, or dumped.

You may get lucky.

Easy Mocha Mix Recipe
1/2 cup instant coffee
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup powdered milk
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa

Use 1-2 tbsp per cup (or to taste) and add boiling
water. Stir well to combine. Enjoy!

Default Iced Mochas
1 1/2 cups cold coffee
2 cups milk
1/4 cup chocolate syrup
1/4 cup white sugar

Pour coffee into ice cube tray. Freeze until solid, or overnight. (hey-no more dumping the last little bit in the pot down the drain ok?!)

In a blender, combine coffee ice cubes, milk, chocolate syrup and sugar. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.

If you like french vanilla coffee you can add a couple of drops of vanilla extract to the coffee pot before you brew your coffee. It's a great taste.

You could use a drop or two of almond, amaretto, hazelnut, orange, or vanilla extract or any other flavor your heart might desire to your regular coffee and tea.

You can also add a teaspoon (for 4 cup coffeemakers) or a tablespoon (for 8 cup coffeemakers) of cinnamon to your coffee grounds. Mix it up with the grounds before brewing.

You can add or reduce the amount to your taste after you brewed your first pot.

For French Vanilla flavored coffee I mix coffee creamer with instant French Vanilla pudding mix. You can use the sugar free,fat free kind. Experiment with the amount of puddding mix to the creamer and adjust it to your taste. I make some as Christmas gifts. This way there is no oily residue in your coffee.

My sister in law loves the French vanilla flavored instant coffees, but I have never run across a recipe that I can make and give as a gift. Any ideas?

I have a flavored coffee creamer recipe that is a great gift!!

Start with 1 can sweetened condensed milk. Add 1-1/2 cups fat free milk and 1 T vanilla. Mix in blender and store in container. This will keep in fridge for approximately 2 weeks.

Variations:
1} add 1 T cocoa and 1 t. almond extract for chocolate almond flavor.
2} add 1 t almond extract and 1/2 t orange extract for cappuccino.

To prepare the following coffee recipes: mix in food processor or blender until you have a fine powder.

For all the coffee recipes except the cafe' au lait, use 1 to 2 spoonfuls to one mug of hot water (to desired taste)

If you want to use whole bean coffee instead of instant the coffee must be ground to a very fine powder. You can use the grinder in the grocery store, run it through on the finest setting twice. Use in the same proportions as instant coffee.

BAVARIAN MINT
2/3 cup instant coffee
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. dried mint leaves crushed
2/3 cup non-dairy creamer

CAFE' L'ORANGE
2/3 cup instant coffee
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. dried crushed orange peel
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

CAFE' MOCHA
2/3 cup instant coffee
3 TBSP unsweetened cocoa
1 1/3 cups sugar
1 cup non-dairy creamer
1/4 cup nonfat dry milk

CINNAMON-N-SPICE
2/3 cup instant coffee
1 1/3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice

TOFFEE COFFEE
1 cup instant coffee
1 cup non-dairy creamer
1 cup brown sugar

CAFE' VIENNA
1 cup instant coffee
1 1/3 cups sugar
1 1/3 cups nonfat dry milk
1 tsp. cinnamon

CAFE' ORANGE CAPPUCCINO
1 cup instant coffee
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups nonfat dry milk
1 tsp. dry orange peel

SWISS MOCHA
1 cup instant coffee
1 cup sugar
2 cups nonfat dry milk
4 tsp. cocoa powder

CAFE' VIENNA MIX
1 cup instant coffee
1 cup sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 cups non-dairy creamer
1 1/2 cups nonfat dry milk
4 TBSP cocoa

CAFE' AU LAIT
1 11oz jar non-dairy creamer
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup instant coffee
dash of salt
(use 1/4 cup mix to 2/3 cup hot water for the cafe' au lait)

Hi, i love flavored instant or perked cofee too. Just use a few drops of vanilla extract, not the artificial kind. i also use almond extract, and sometimes fresh Cinnamon sticks for Christmas coffee.!

I like using hazelnut flavored powdered creamer but French vanilla and caramel macchiato would be great tasting too. Perfect for gift giving and when camping or traveling.
