In a food processor, combine almonds and 1/2 cup sugar. Cover and process until blended; transfer to a bowl.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 or 10 inch tube pan. To prepare the streusel, in a medium bowl, mix together brown sugar, nuts, and flour.
Carefully split each cake layer in half horizontally to make 4 layers. Stack layers, spreading Peach Filling between layers. Cream butter and shortening in a large mixing bowl at medium speed of mixer.
