Recycled Wheelbarrow Herb Garden
By futuremrsn08
We've seen that people are making gardens, especially now. My tip is to recycle an old wheelbarrow into a lovely and useful herb garden. There is no weeding and many herbs are perennials. My husband was about to trash his old wheelbarrow and I turned it into a herb garden. Now I just go out the door and snip whatever I need for cooking or to dry.

A very nice, refreshing salad that pairs perfectly with a meat entree or at a BBQ party! Feel free to alter this recipe with your preferred tomatoes, greens, herbs, choice of cheese.
Popcorn Kernel Jar Secret Safe
By attosa
Need a place to hide your valuables? Try making my secret diversion safe that looks like a full jar of popcorn kernels! It costs about $1.00 to make, which is so much cheaper than diversion safes carried at spy and detective shops. Don't have popcorn? You can use: lentils, beans, bran flakes, etc.

If cast iron is rusty, use steel pads to remove rust and wash in hot Dawn detergent really well. Dry cast iron. I use cooking oil to season the cast iron; using paper towel, rub oil generously onto cast iron, inside and outside.

Small wildflowers stored in mini glass corked bottles filled with oil. These were the last flowers in my yard this year. With the ground now snow covered, it's nice to have little reminders of sunny days around the house!
