I love my cats, but I don't love stinky litter boxes so I have two litter boxes. One is in use and the other is away. When one box gets dirty I replace it with the other box to give me time to empty the first one and thoroughly clean and sanitize it with vinegar, water, a bit of dish detergent and baking soda.

When shopping for a lead, buy one that is easily seen, even at night. This is not for traffic only, it is for the dog's welfare also. To their mind, it is a scary thing to begin leash training and not know what it is you are hooked up to.

2 of our 3 Boston Terriers are rescue dogs. The one on Freecycle was on a short leash and left in a plastic barrel outside. They are the most amazing animals. Our third Boston Terrier came from a female Boston Terrier, who died during birth.

When I give my house-cats their bath, I love each one up really good first. Then I pick her up and get into the shower with her. I have the two separate large plastic cups from a Quickstop with diluted shampoo and conditioner ready on the floor.
