By attosa
Veggies and dip are a common food item for annual Thanksgiving spreads. Why not spruce it up by making it look like a turkey? This veggie tray is super cute and very easy to put together. I used hummus as the dip here, but you can use any kind you like!

Using little pieces of fabric scraps to make a mini quilt with a pocket that holds a prayer list.
By sooz
Give each member of your Thanksgiving family/friend dinner a square of cloth and ask them to write the year and what they are thankful for. Do this each year until you have enough to make a quilt. It's interesting to see how young people have progressed in their priorities and to be able to read what people were going through at the time.

Decorate a live or plastic pumpkin or gourd for a seasonal decoration, or (as I plan to use them) as seating place cards and a take home gift for your guests!

I made two draft stoppers from a clean pair of my husband's old worn out jeans by cutting off both legs. I stuffed them full of white rice. I also made two sleeves so they could be thrown into the washer, when they got dirty.
Thanksgiving: Thankful Centerpiece

I wanted my guests to be thankful for something this year. I wrote down several things to be thankful for and cut them out and attached them to my candle centerpiece.

Reuse Pillow Shams On Your Sofa
By Carol Young
Use pretty pillow sham covers as pillows on your sofa or as throw cushions! I see these all the time at Goodwill for a buck or two, and I decided to make use of them. My kids like to use them as floor pillows, as well.
